These terms cover CloudHound in ChatGPT: the free RVTools estimate and connecting your CloudHound account, provided by CloudHound Limited ("CloudHound", "we"). By using CloudHound in ChatGPT you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you agree on that organization's behalf. Your use of the CloudHound platform itself is governed by your agreement with CloudHound, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
The free RVTools estimate prices the VMs in an RVTools export you attach on Amazon EC2 and can email you a workbook, build an AWS Pricing Calculator estimate or delete the estimate. If you connect your CloudHound account, ChatGPT can read the portfolio you choose, at the access level you choose. Migrations are started, launched and cancelled in the CloudHound console, not from ChatGPT.
You must have the right to share any file you attach. You keep ownership of your files and data, and you allow CloudHound to process them to provide the plugin, as described in our privacy policy.
Estimates are based on AWS prices and CloudHound's sizing at the time they are made, and on the configuration in your file. RVTools carries no utilization, so right-sizing in a free estimate uses a standard assumption rather than measured load. An estimate is not a quote from AWS or from CloudHound, and actual costs will differ. Check figures before relying on them for a commercial decision.
Do not use the plugin to break the law, to upload data you are not authorized to share, to access data that is not yours, or to disrupt, overload or test the security of CloudHound's services. Automated or bulk use of the free estimate is not permitted.
ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under OpenAI's terms. AWS Pricing Calculator links are created on calculator.aws and can be viewed by anyone with the link.
We may change, suspend or stop the plugin or the free estimate at any time.
The free estimate and the plugin are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, CloudHound is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the plugin, and CloudHound's total liability for the free estimate is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
We may revise these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and continued use means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction.
